Carroll Park Voted Best Playground/Park By Nickelodeon's "Parents Connect"

Back in June, Nickelodeon's Parents Connect web site wanted to know: "Where's your kid's favorite spot to swing, slide and get sand in his shoes (and pants and hair and ears ...)?"

As of yesterday, the votes are in: Carroll Park is the clear winner.

According to the popular web site for parents, which had nominated our neighborhood's beloved green oasis along with Fort Greene Park, McCarren Park and Prospect Park back in June, Carroll Park is Brooklyn's best playground or park.

No surprise here. Carroll Gardeners have known that for a long time. With our wonderful recreation person, the popular Kids' Concert Series and with the summer movie series, Carroll Park can't be beat!
