How cool is this? Enter a race with your dog in Prospect Park, have fun AND help your local Brooklyn dog shelter? I don't have a dog, but if I had, I would want to take part in the event below...

POGO Events and FIDO presents a Dog Friendly version of The Amazing New York Race. The Amazing New York Race is part scavenger hunt, part obstacle course and ALL NEW YORK. In this version, a series of clues leads participants and their pups around Park Slope, Brooklyn
performing physical and mental challenges along the way.

The event will start in Prospect Park at 1:00 pm and dogs will be paired up into teams of 2 by a trained behaviorist. The cost of $35 is per dog (not per person).

The Race takes about two hours with an after party. All participants will receive a "doggy bag" with loads of goodies from our sponsors. There will also be a "rest station" with food, drinks and snacks for your dog if they get tired along the way.

A portion of the proceeds go to a local Brooklyn Dog Shelter. For more information and to sign up go to http://ardog913.eventbrite.com/
