A Beautiful Fall Day In Carroll Park

oo
IMG_1012

Thank goodness for Sunday, I say. The rains of Friday and Saturday gave way to the most splendid day, yesterday. I took advantage of the weather to garden in Carroll Park as a volunteer. I was joined by some great neighbors who care enough to give a few hours of their time to keep the park looking its best. The youngest volunteer was little Alex. He helped pick up leaves and had tremendous fun doing so.
Thanks, Alex!

Hope, dear Reader, that you also had a chance to come out to enjoy the sunshine.

I had the benefit of being at the park with my family yesterday. What a great time of year.

Thank you to Katia and her husband Glen for their roll in making Carroll Park the great place it is.

Thanks, Anon.
It is indeed the loveliest part of the year, I think.

Katia,

It was a beautiful couple of days in Carroll Park.

I'm sorry to say (as surmmized a few weeks ago) that new tree they planted didn't take.

Any word on the next attempt in the Spring?

Hi Raised In Carroll Gardens,
Yes, the Park's department will replant in early spring. It's all been arranged.
Lets hope we have better luck this time.
