Postcard From France: Sun Setting Over The Fields

IMG_5354

The view from my bedroom window, just as the sky turned from blue, to pink, to orange with the setting sun. It only truly becomes dark here after 10 Pm in the summer.
Often, we sit outside under our linden tree until the stars come out.

It has been pleasantly cool but sunny here, though they are predicting more heat in the coming days. I heard that it is brutally hot in New York. How are you dealing with the heat wave back home, dear Reader?

Here it is a crazy summer, after the 3rd warmest June ever, July looks to be, according to the weather guys, The warmest ever...
We are currently in our 3rd heat wave of the season, and it is not even August...

Oh well, it was Bastille day here on Smith, crowded as usual, a little pastis and shade, I guess it's OK...

Remember that the temperatures are in celsius.

Sorry I missed the Bastille Day celebration on Smith Street. It is always so fun.

I like the 13-15 degrees celsius low for your area in the next 10 days that helps cool down...

Here we have 22-24 degrees celsius for the next 10 days...

Please ConEdison keep up with the electrons flow...
