Does your kid love to sing?  Here is a wonderful, free opportunity for children of all denominations.
St. Paul’s Church is happy to announce the re-starting of our Treble Choir program. We are currently accepting young singers, ages 6 and up. The program is free. All we ask is regular attendance on Thursdays from 6 to 7 pm, and a willingness to sing occasionally on Sunday mornings at the 11am mass.
The program will be directed by the new music director of St. Paul's, Vince Peterson. Vince is an accomplished choral director and keyboardist, with years of experience directing both children's and adult choirs. He is currently an Adjunct Associate Professor of Music at Brooklyn College, where he mentors music teachers in the public school system.
• Regular attendance on Thursdays from 6 to 7pm is required.
• Beginning Thursday, March 1st.
• Snack provided
• Learn basic solfege, kodaly hand signs, and basic music reading skills!
• Rehearsals take place in the parish hall of St. Paul’s Church, 199 Carroll St.
• Earn ribbons for years of seniority!
