For about a year now, poet, writer, and teacher Chris Hosea has organized poetry readings, first in Cobble Hill, and for the last few months, in the back-room restaurant at Sal’s Pizzeria and Mama Mia on Court Street. The series is entitled Blue Letter and aims to bring "challenging and exciting contemporary poets to audience"s in this neighborhood. The events are free and open to the public.
Tonight, check out the poetry of Khadijah Queen, author of Black Peculiar, Prudence Peiffer, art critic and poet extraordinaire, and Kate Schapira, author of How We Saved the City.

"Belly up to some crazy affordable chow and booze and three of poetry's most exciting new talents."
Wednesday, March 7 at 8 p.m.
