I believe the singer's name was Rebecca. She was amazing.

It may have been a tad cold outside this past Saturday night, but that did not stop some very brave people from stepping up to the microphone and to sing a song at Carroll Park's 6th Annual Scary-oke Karaoke event. As in years past, it was amazing to see how much vocal talent we have right here in the neighborhood.
Those less courageous had fun dancing and encouraging the singers, especially the very young.

Roberto Williams of Lion's Roar Karaoke once again brought out his tremendous catalog of over 10,000 songs so that there was something for all age groups and all levels, from Johnny Cash to the Beatles, from Elvis to every Disney movie songs and everything in between.

Scary-oke was organized by the non-profit group Friends of Carroll Park. A special thanks goes out to volunteer Bruce McDonald, who organized this event as well as Friday night's screening of "Little Shop of Horrors' in the park.

Don't forget Friends of Carroll Park's annual Kids' Halloween Parade this Saturday, October 21st at 12 pm.

I feel sorry for everyone involved. This Satanic Holiday must be put to an end. I prey for all Souls involved.

She is amazing! Wish more folks had been there to listen to her, including myself.
