A special benefit concert for Aleppo will be held at Invisible Dog Art Center, 51 Bergen Street
on Thursday, February 16th at 7 pm. All proceeds will benefit The White Helmets, the all-volunteer, un-armed rescue teams operating in Syria. These modern day heroes have saved thousands of lives during the conflict in their country.
Organized by Gregory Spock, who will also be performing, the concert additionally features Jamie Ratcliffe, Edwin Driscoll, Esha Datta, Jenny Millsap Crutchlow, and Ross Crutschlow.
On the program are Mahler's Kindertotenlieder, as well as 'opera arias including Un bel di vedremo from Madama Butterfly, O mio babbino Caro from Gianni Schicchi and "When I bring to you colour'd toys" a Carpenter piece.'
If you would like to learn more about the White Helmets, you may want to watch the Academy Award nominated  documentary about the volunteers on Netflix.

Since we live in a time where we should get our information from more than one source to get to the truth, here is an article about the White Helmet group that is worth reading:

"Benefit Concert for Aleppo" is a lie. East Aleppo was fully liberated from Jihadi terrorists in December. The White Helmets disappeared and did nothing to assist the recovery of Aleppo.

Just two of the hits under a google search "white helmets propaganda"
