Quench is Gone, Here Comes The Jake Walk on Smith

A new coat of paint
(from blue to cream)

A new door
(from frosted glass to thick wood)

and a new name:
The Jake Walk

A work in progress
though the new bar looks ready to open very soon

    As reported in yesterday's "Dining In" section of the NY Times, the Jakewalk is being opened by the owners of Smith & Vine and Stinky Bklyn (along with two other partners). The name is a nod to the days of Prohibition. Here's more info:
