  1. Was Mary an actual saint? I always hear of her being referred to as the Holy Virgin or Mother of God. Or is that St Francisis? Hard to tell with those cement statues.

  2. You know, I wasn't sure either. But then, right here in the neighborhood, we have St. Mary Star Of The Sea Church.
    Can someone with deeper knowledge on this please enlighten us?

  3. YES SHE WAS A SAINT!!! SHE WAS THE MOTHER OF JESUS FOR CHRIST SAKE!! SHE IS ONE OF THE HOLIEST IDEALS IN THE CATHOLIC FAITH. THANK YOU

  8. Whoah..Natty. I appreciate all religions. Both parent's raised orthodox catholic. Yes, it is a wondeful photo and I mean no offense to Roman Catholocisim, I just never hear of her being called Saint in say casual conversation about religion or anything. But I guess with all those St Mary's Colleges around I guess I made a hasty observation. Hail Mary, full of Grace...Have a Nice Day.
