Lucy, the daffy and ambitious housewife of Cuban bandleader Ricky, is fixated on joining her husband in show business, despite his refusal to cooperate. With an overactive imagination and help from friends Fred and Ethel, Lucy always finds a way of getting what she wants and into a lot of trouble.
