"Big Movies For Little Kids": Two Great Screenings In November

Right after Halloween, neighborhood kids have more fun to look forward two with two wonderful screenings by the folks over at Big Movies For Little Kids.  Read on:

In addition to our Monday afternoon screenings at Cobble Hill Cinemas, Big Movies for Little Kids has one last FREE show this autumn in downtown Brooklyn.


Monday, November 1st at 4pm

Films About City Vehicles
Garbage trucks, racecars, bulldozers, cranes and a runaway tricycle are just some of the vehicles featured in our selection of shorts.  Films include the absolutely stunning SAND PIT; the legendary (and once-banned, but family friendly) RENDEZVOUS and book-to-film favorite, I STINK, among others. (USA, France; 1976-2010; color animation and live action; not rated; approximately 60 minutes)

These Cannes Film Festival and Academy Award-winning classics have enchanted movie lovers young and old for generations.  Delight in the adventurous tales of friendship and freedom on the streets of Paris and with cowboys in the south of France. (1952 & 1956; Rated G; total program: 75 minutes)

Our final screening will take place in the library at Toren Condo.  As always, it's FREE, with complimentary parking, hot chocolate, popcorn and snacks!
