Over the week-end, I met Dumbo jewelry designer Judy Slatkin at a holiday fair,  where she was selling pieces from her  Lucky Star Jewelry NYC collection.  I especially loved her 'Neighborhood Necklaces' made in sterling silver.  Choose from Carroll Gardens, Boerum Hill, Cobble Hill, Park Slope, Fort Greene, Brooklyn and Breukelen.  She also makes 718 and 212 zip code necklaces.
They come in 16" and 18" lengths.  The pieces are rhodium plated  to help lessen tarnishing, as Judy explained to me. The neighborhood necklaces are $140 and the area codes are $120.
