Picture Of The Day: The Slope In the Distance


It did not seem like a particularly clear day,
but standing at the corner of Smith and 4th Streets
in Carroll Gardens,
Park Slope was visible in the distance.

    Rising like the terminal moraine it is.... One sure fire way of chilling out in these dog days is to think of all those tons of ice that once towered above this place we now call western end of Brooklyn. Brrrrr!
