And The Prize Goes To.... Brooklyn Film Festival Winners Announced

And The Winner Of The 'Grand Chameleon Award' Is...

After ten days of screenings, the 2011 Brooklyn Film Festival has just concluded and the winners have been announced. Suki Hawley's and Michael Galinski's documentary "Battle For Brooklyn" took the Grand Chameleon Prize, and "W. Zappatore" by Massimiliano Verdesca won for best documentary.

Nathan Kensinger, the festival's director of programing, writes: "It's a wrap! After selecting 101 films from over 2,400 submissions, presenting 10 days of screenings with filmmakers from 26 countries, and awarding over $50,000 in prizes to 24 award winning films... the 2011 Brooklyn Film Festival has now concluded! Thanks to all the filmmakers and attendees for making this a great festival."
