Dear Readers,
I have been in Soest, Germany since Saturday for a family reunion. The occasion was the First Communion of my cousin's son, Fynn.
Soest is a beautiful little city with wonderful old houses, some of which date from the 1500's. Most have been lovingly restored.
I thought you might like to see some photos.
And here is a picture of Fynn on his big day.
Katia again on European soil... for a very good reason; congratulations :) Hope you are enjoying your time in Germany!
ReplyDeleteGreetings from Barcelona (on vacation)
I see Max as a small boy in that photo.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo's.
ReplyDeleteAnd we just held First Communion service for the neighborhood kids back home here at St Paul's. It is Spring time!
Springtime, indeed, though today is definitely colder and the next few daycare supposedly going to be rainy.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, there definitely is a family resemblance.
Ferran, will you be in Berlin next week-end? I am heading there on Friday.
ReplyDeleteThe town looks good. In April 1945 the town suffered heavy allied artillery fire. The train station was bombed by the British.
ReplyDeleteThe old architecture looks amazing. I wonder what the inside looks like. What an enchanting visit!
ReplyDeleteWonderful!!
ReplyDeleteI love the photos. Germany is a really nice country.
