Whatever your plans for this week-end, don't miss the Court Street Festival on Sunday, May 1th. Court Street will be closed from Union Street to 9th Street to make room for about 200 vendors. There will be children's rides and music and lots of food. It starts at 12 and will go till 6 Pm.
See you there?
The Court Street Festival has been a yearly event in Carroll Gardens for the past 38 years. So come out and enjoy a fun day in the neighborhood.
Weather report has rain all day Sunday. Doesn't it rain every year during the Court Street fair?
ReplyDeleteIs it me or is the festival very early this year?
ReplyDeleteIf I'm not mistaken the street fair has been the same weekend as the 5 boro bike tour for the past several years. First Sunday in May.
ReplyDeleteah thanks. I just recall it being warmer when the fair was on so that threw me off. getting old...
ReplyDeleteOh boy! Gonna get me a Mozzarepa, new sunglasses, pepper steak, and a new pashmina.
ReplyDeleteHas the Gowanus Canal Community Board always sponserd this beast? It's not the most interesting street fair considering the amount of great food trucks in Brooklyn and other things. But it is what it is. Wouldn't be Carroll Gardens without it. I won't be going. I'll be enjoying the the parade of diverted cars down my street.
