Deva, The Carroll Park 'Glitter Bug' Face Painter Needs Our Help

oo

During the summer, I got a very sad email from my friend and former Carroll Gardens resident Judy Rayner. Judy informed me that Deva, the wonderful
"Glitter Bug" face painter who donated her time and talent to Carroll Park in years past has been battling cancer. Here is Judy's email:

Do you remember that nice lady, Deva, who did the face painting for us in Carroll Park? She's a breast cancer survivor and she just got some bad news. The cancer has returned and spread to her bones. She needs chemotherapy and doesn't have insurance. There's a foundation collecting money for her treatment. Here's the link: http://elkabest.org/public_html/index.php?md=33. It's tax deductible and you can donate as little as $10. I hope you can help. Hugs, -- Judy Rayner

How about it, fellow Carroll Gardeners? Surely, we can help Deva out and make a
difference in her life!
