We all fall down!
Pardon me for asking, but how is the young gunman in yesterday's Virginia Tech tragedy any different from a suicide bomber? Does it really matter to his victims what his motives were or that he used a gun instead of explosives?
Doesn't it matter much more that our government allowed him to buy the explosives legally at his local gunshop or gunshow?
Just asking.
Your thoughts?

drawing a parallel between suicide bombers who are brain washed and act out of hate and for ideological reasons and the occasional american nutter who kills bc he feels underprivileged or unloved is not the point. As a European I have real problems with the death penalty and the ease with which an adult can buy weapons in this country. One per month is the only restriction. Terrible.
I agree. can't believe this country still allows the sales of firearm after all the violence involving them. But I agree with the blogger. Senseless violence is senseless violence. A well armed disturbed man is as deadly as one with an explosive belt. The outcome is always the same for the victim.
Wouldn't it be nice if we could get affordable health care coverage as easily as we can get guns.
