Salty Court Street!

oo

Court Street Friday!
Yes, we had about an inch of freezing rain on Thursday morning, but it washed away before mid-afternoon. So nothing would explain the very thick layer of rock salt spread in front of the North Fork Bank on Court at the corner of 2nd Place. Bad for the environment? You bet!
The exact same thing was happening in front of Citibank one block away.
Pardon me for asking, but don't you think a third of the amount of salt would have been enough to keep their customers safe and lawyers at bay?

My guess: the banks are not enough trouble with the subprime mishap, now they are extra carefull with their operations :)))))))

That's actually a really funny comment. You may be right. Banks may lead you onto thin ice financially, but in every day life, they make sure you don't break a leg...
