New York Times April 1855I have been loosing the battle against a cold all this week. So I have to admit that I have been feeling a bit sorry for myself, what with the coughing and sneezing. I did feel much better though after reading this little clip from a New York Times article regarding mortality here in Brooklyn in 1855. How can I not. At lease I don't have dropsy of the head or God forbid, carbuncle. Whatever that may be.
