Decapitation Complete at 126 First Place

oo

Last week, dear reader, I introduced you to the brownstone that was being bastardized on First Place. In an effort to add a few stories to the building, the owner/developer literally shaved off its top so that he can build up. In addition, workers are dropping the floors within the structure, squeezing out yet another level. Problem is, now the windows on the front don't match up with the floors. Can you see through the window? Do you see the new beams cutting right across the top?

Now, that's quality building right there, don't ya think?

You know, you are right. With the way the proportions of the floors are changed, there is no way that they can keep the stoop.
Well, there really is no more hope for that house. It is beyond saving!
