Help Paint A Mural At The New " Starting Artists" Space On Smith
Last week, I wrote a little post about Starting Artists, the 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization that is making its new home at 211 Smith Street.
I was contacted by Marisa Catalina Casey, Founder and Executive Director, who sent along more information about the wonderful programs she and her teachers are offering. The organization benefits under-served teenagers in Brooklyn through hands-on training in the arts and entrepreneurship. On April 22 through April 24th, Marisa is inviting middle school and high school students to help paint a mural at the Smith Street location. Details are above.
Sounds like a lot of fun. For further information, contact: marisa@startingartists.org or check out their website www.startingartists.org
