Those Strapping Young Brooklyn St. A's In 1924-25

You have to admit, these lads are quite strapping in their very cool uniforms. They are members of the Brooklyn St. A's, a basketball team and this photo was taken back during the 1924-25 season.

Now, here is a bit of a mystery: were the St. A's from St. Ann's in Brooklyn Heights, or St.Athanasius in Bensonhurst? Anyone have an idea?
