Impressive Fire Department Response On Smith Street
The smell of gas apparently prompted yesterday morning's response from the Fire Department on Smith Street between President and Carroll Street. Three fire trucks as well as two police cars responded to a call. Impressive!
Turns out it was nothing to worry about. But as one of the firemen told me: " We'd rather be safe than sorry." I agree.
