Like millions of Europeans, I'm following the elections in the US through local stations... and through CNN too :)
By the way, I just found out Henry Kissinger is originally from Germany! (I had no idea). He was on a German tv station, speaking life from the US. I thought: "I think this is Kissinger but, how come he's speaking German??" - then I checked the Wikipedia ;-)

I cannot tell you how nervous I am. Oh, please, let the nightmare of the last 8 years be over!!!!!
I am determined to stay up....til the last state reports.
I knew that Kissinger was originally from Germany. One can hear his accent when he speaks English.
I have not heard him speak German though. What did he have to say?
Well, he was supporting McCain (no wonder, right?) but at the same time he was convinced Obama would win. And he was right :-)
