Over-The-Top Brownstone Stoop Repair

Say, is that caulk?


Oh, the joy of owning a brownstone! Sooner or later, cracks on the façade and on the stoop have to be dealt with, no question about it. But one would hope that there is a better way of attacking the repair than the example above.

Advice to homeowner: Use brown cement!

Please tell me this is some kind of joke and the homeowner is bored because of winter and pretending it's Halloween. Maybe they intend to paint the whole thing and/or don't know much about proper maintenance. If anyone has a suggestions on how to kindly assist this confused homeowner, chime in. Thanks.

I live on the same block for years.
My family for about sixty or more.
This home maybe is owned by a native person and maybe someone who doesnt give a crap about what people think.
Now these homes are all"upscaled"
sub-zero frig and wolf stove...lol
hmm maybe this owner has a a huge savings and all the people who dislike this stoop,
live to keep up with their neighbors

keep that stoop the way it is,,,,its charming and love my neighbors who live here for many years.
