Hey, Neighbor! Pardon Me For Asking, But...

oo
Pardon Me for asking

No, no, dear Reader, I have not forgotten the question of the week. But you see, I have a busy week ahead of me and got sidetracked. (I'll explain later.) But since its Friday, and since I know that you are very anxious to give us your answer, here it is:

The question of the week!

Get set, ready, go!

Who is your favorite store clerk in the neighborhood. Who is that person on the other side of the counter that always can make you smile or want to talk?

This super question was sent to me by reader Vince. So lets hear it! Send in those comments.

I have a three way tie. Gerard at Rite-Aid, and everyone at both the Bagel Store and Mastellones.

The brothers at Espositos. They are Brooklyn.

The guys at the clothing store time forgot: Marietta, next to chase on court street.

I love Gerard, too. Love John McFadden's son at Staubitz. And Mrs. Lee on Union, she's awesome, will never let my kids buy too much candy!

I think it depends on my mood, how outgoing I feel. But I think what I love about shopping in Brooklyn is that, when you put out a little to a clerk, you usually get back warm-hearted friendliness. The brothers at Esposito's are great-old time Brooklyn. The woman who runs the fish store next door is also friendly. Caputo's has personable people behind the counter. And Bob at the Health Food Store in Court is always ready to give you info about supplements. And Scotto's wine store gives great wine advice without attitude. I think I would just give a prize to all the clerks on Smith and Court streets. We live in a very friendly shopping neighborhood!
