Of all the trees surrounding Public School 58, Class K-1/115 chose to adopt this London Plane on First Place between Court and Smith Streets. The children hugged the tree with little paper hand prints bearing their names.
What a lovely idea. We should all adopt a tree.

Katia, Thank you for wandering around our neighborhood and catching all these treasures. This one's a real gem. Sooo sweeet. We need more trees. Especially on Smith Street. It gets really hot there in the summer.
