My dear readers, here are some photos of this pre-Christmas snowstorm starting with the foreboding sky yesterday.
Then this Sunday morning, I got up very early to capture the neighborhood blanketed under a beautiful layer of snow. Residents and shop owners were just starting to shovel sidewalks, streets had not yet quite been cleared and few pedestrians had ventured outdoors yet. It was a magical moment in Carroll Gardens.

Note that PS58 already shoveled the sidewalk around when Hannah Senesh private School did not remove one inch and making the access to the subway more difficult.
