A Personal Note On A Snowy Brooklyn Day

Katia back in 19--
On a snowy day in Germany.

Back then, I had no idea I was going to spend my adult life in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn and that I was going to raise a family here. But I already loved snow and I still do to this day.

Needless to say, I am looking forward to lots and lots of the white stuff.

I plan on going out later today to take some photos.

What are your plans, dear Reader?

Why reading PMFA of course!

One kid is at the Red Hook farm as part of a community service course and the other has gone off to see Avatar. I am baking chocolate chip cookies and trying not to eat the dough. And when either returns home there will be hot chocolate.

Hey, Cynthia,
You are such a good mother....(and reader.)
Snow and hot chocolate were made for each other.

I'm going over to Linda's and Joe's for some hot homemade soup. I am so glad that tomorrow is Sunday and we can enjoy the snow. I love the quiet that comes with it.

Am cozy and warm watching the snow and listening to music. Love my pretty Christmas tree. Grandma Fay's apple crisp is baking, which reminds me of her and makes me smile. I love snow too!

Going to the park tomorrow to watch the kids play. Sweet dreams to all.

My plans? Finishing up the holiday shopping, enjoying the snow and trying to keep warm. Good thing I still have some of Jacque Torres' Wicked Hot Chocolate on the shelf.
