I became pastor of Old First church in Park Slope in 2001. Not once since I came did De Blasio's office ever return a phone call or respond to a communication. I really don't expect him to start now, unless I manage to find something that serves his interest.

Laugh, riot on Dollar Bill. The only thing that is of interest to him would be your money. And lots of it. Like his support for the mayor's plan for non-clean up of the Gowanus? Like his advocacy of housing inside Brooklyn Bridge Park? Like the way he slipped through on Carroll Gardens zoning special exceptions? Like his support for breaking the height limits for developers in historic districts? Well then you will like him as Public Advocate and eventually Mayor. God bless us all.
