The residents on Carroll Street, close to Smith Street, were ready to pull their hair out yesterday.
It all started early in the morning, when something set off the alarm on a sports utility car. The piercing sound was rather annoying. But, of course, everyone hoped that it would turn off by itself.
No such luck. Every few minutes, the damn thing went off. By late afternoon, someone had taped a note to the side window of the car. It simply said: " Your alarm is going all day."
Sure did. The owner finally showed up at 7PM and peace and quiet were finally restored on the block.

Why wasn't the car owner fined with a hefty ticket?
In my street, we are more annoyed by the construction @ 360 Smith
