A few electronic recycling events are taking place in and around our neighborhood in the next few weeks in celebration of Earth Day. Thank goodness. I certainly need to get rid of one or two old computers that serve no more purpose other than to take valuable space away.

Here are details on an event:

Recycle Your Electronics FREE at PS 10 in Celebration of Earth Day and buy a raffle chance to win a new Apple Magic Mouse or Snow Leopard for the Mac courtesy of The Mac Support Store – Brooklyn's First Authorized Repair Shop!

Where: PS10 lobby (511 Seventh Ave. between Prospect Ave and 17th Street)

When: Saturday, April 17 10 am–2 pm

What: Electronic equipment including broken or unwanted computers, monitors, keyboards, PDAs, mouses, cellphones, printers, dvd and cd players, routers, remote controls, stereos, cables). We will NOT accept household appliances like TVs, microwave ovens, air conditioners, refrigerators, etc.

PS10 PTA, the PS10 Green Committee and The Mac Support Store are proud to help you recycle unwanted electronics with eRevival, an EPA-registered recycling and re-purposing company. For more information, please visit the website: www.erevival.com.
