This little bit of neighborhood news was emailed to me by my friend Bruce.
Starting this Monday, Abilene at 442 Court Street at the corner of 3rd Place will be serving lunch on week-days. They will be opening at noon instead of 5 Pm.
How perfect for those of us who work from home and need a little lunch break.

Honestly, they have the best grilled chicken sandwich.
How is the food there?
i use to go there when it was the Red Room- there burgers would be flat-like fro a takeout machine- you could die for their burgers-that are mouth widening- real meat burger- french fries that are scrumptiously delicious-w salad and tomatoes. They have also, pork,chicken,veggie burgers, chicken teryacki,etc. You cannot go wrong- Vino-Pinot Grigio- was delicioso-dry vino.
Always packed at night-not a wild crowd.
Parents with babies, singles or couples with their pets. Interior was decorated from its owner. She did some fine job.
I was there for a friends book illustration- it was great to sit inside and enjoy the atmosphere, than i took myself outside for abit of evening air.
Prices seem reasonable for the amount on your plate. Extras are reasonable also.
