The Trinity Pipes Caroling in Carroll Gardens
I had received an email from Reader Greg the previous day: he and some alumni from his college acappella group were meeting up for their fourth annual caroling in the neighborhood. And so, the Trinity Pipes of Trinity College started the night on Union and Court Streets and stopped in front of houses with lights and festive decorations.
Thanks to Greg, they paid a special visit to my house were they treated my family and me to their beautiful voices. It was truly festive.
The Trinity alumni, ranging from graduation years 1990 to 2009, re-connected here in Brooklyn. It was an extreme pleasure to make their acquaintance. Thanks, Trinity Pipes!

Katia,

How wonderful. I didn't think anyone went caroling anymore. It just makes the Christmas season so much more special! What a sorely missed tradition! How blessed you were to have them sing for you.
"Gloria in excelsis Deo" - indeed

They were just amazing. And yes, a very nice tradition. It is great to see young people keeping it alive.
