Was Mary an actual saint? I always hear of her being referred to as the Holy Virgin or Mother of God. Or is that St Francisis? Hard to tell with those cement statues.

You know, I wasn't sure either. But then, right here in the neighborhood, we have St. Mary Star Of The Sea Church.
Can someone with deeper knowledge on this please enlighten us?

Whoah..Natty. I appreciate all religions. Both parent's raised orthodox catholic. Yes, it is a wondeful photo and I mean no offense to Roman Catholocisim, I just never hear of her being called Saint in say casual conversation about religion or anything. But I guess with all those St Mary's Colleges around I guess I made a hasty observation. Hail Mary, full of Grace...Have a Nice Day.
