Friends Of Carroll Park Invite Former, Present And Future Volunteers To Kick Off Spring Season

Spring In Carroll Gardens

Friends Of Carroll Park, a volunteer group that has been tending to this neighborhood's favorite green oasis for more than twenty years, has a few great events coming up to encourage others to join. To kick the Spring season off, the group invites all past, present and future volunteers to a reception in the parkhouse.

From Friends Of Carroll Park:

"Have you volunteered with Friends of Carroll Park...or would you like to? Either way, come by our Volunteer Reception on Saturday, April 16th, from 6:00 to 8:00. Come for the full two hours to bask in your own volunteer glory, or drop in for some refreshments and a meet-and-greet with some neighborhood volunteers. You can also learn more details about any (or all!) of the volunteer activities listed on the left sidebar of this note!

On Sunday, April 17, from 10am to 3pm, we will welcome a group of corporate volunteers from New York Cares, who will undertake the ongoing rehab and painting of the park's perimeter fence. If you've got at least an hour or two to spare, don some crummy clothes and come join the fun!"
