A few weeks ago, Big Movies For Little Kids asked for submission for their very first student film festival. Now the event has been scheduled. Don't miss it. Read on for more information:

First Ever STUDENT FILM FESTIVAL

Sponsored by The Children’s Museum of the Arts

Monday, June 6th at 4 PM

You’ve seen our films. Now let us see yours! Join us for a selection of the films we received in our open call to all New York City students. We’ll be screening over 20 shorts from filmmakers ranging in age from 4 to 18 on the BIG SCREEN at BIG MOVIES! The talent, variety of subject matter and technique these young filmmakers bring to the screen is amazing and not to be missed!

Our young audience members will vote for their top three favorite films, which will be shown on June 17th at our Drive-In Movie Night at the PS29 schoolyard. Prizes will be awarded to all filmmakers. With pre-show activities and crafts supplied by the Children’s Museum of the Arts. (USA; shorts; not-rated; approximately 60 minutes.)

(Please email us if you would like hi-res photos.)
