No self-respecting local used the pitiable "BoCoCa" label.
BoCoCa? Is this blog written by somebody in Ohio that googled Brooklyn?
Look, I hate the label just as much as anyone else, but dispute the name, the event is great fun. Talk to the organizer about changing it.
why are you both acting like Katia named the event? Is she not supposed to call it by its name just because you find the term BoCoCa unappealing? Get over yourselves.
Apologies if it seemed my peeve was directed at you, Katia. I think you're great. The word just sends shivers and I lament every inch that it inexorably creeps toward respectability.
We should just go back to calling it South Brooklyn.
