This past Saturday, a cold fall wind was blowing through Carroll Park's majestic elm trees, parents were pushing their toddlers on the swings and several young men were playing basketball in the ball field, when a bride came walking towards the World War I Memorial.
The groom, the minister and the wedding guests had already gathered there.
The romantic moment seemed to be appreciated by the little old ladies sitting on the benches surrounding the monument.
I don't remember ever seeing a wedding in Carroll Park, do you?

this past summer or late spring i saw one there. they put out folding chairs and there were buses on carroll st. to take some guest to the reception. very nice.
Love it! Best wishes.
My wife and I got married on the Promenade 2 years ago, it was just 10 of us, but we had plenty of onlooked despite being all the way tucked into the top end.
This past summer I noticed about 50 guests for a ceremony in Cobble Hill Park for a wedding, they had a PA system and chairs and a whole thing going on there.
It's a pretty (and cheap!) way to get hitched.
