The heat of summer is incredibly stressful on city trees and they need all the help they can get. My friend Wylie, who is a Columbia Street resident has organized mulch for the trees lining Columbia Street, from Hamilton Avenue to Union Street. To spread the mulch into the tree pits, she needs the help of some volunteers this Saturday, June 15th from 11 am to 2 pm.
Meet up with her at the corner of Columbia and Woodhull.
Wylie will provide coffee and donuts, so please come out and lend a hand.
