"Is it not cruel to let our city die by degrees, stripped of all her proud monuments, until there will be nothing left of all her history and beauty to inspire our children? If they are not inspired by the past of our city, where will they find the strength to fight for her future?" Jacqueline Kennedy

The film will be have its Brooklyn première this Friday, September 20th at part of the Greenpoint Film Festival, which just awarded it 'best documentary short."
After the screening, Max Kutner will be joined by writer and historian Joseph Alexiou for a Q& A.

"At the Corner of 3rd and 3rd presents the first comprehensive look at the mysterious New York and Long Island Coignet Stone Company Building, a landmark in Gowanus, Brooklyn that has been largely abandoned since the 1960s. When Whole Foods breaks ground on a market just a few feet away from the building, the community looks to the future while fighting to preserve the past."
