Reminder: "The Princess Bride" Movie Screening And Karaoke In Carroll Park This Week-End

oo
Just a reminder that Carroll Park will host two wonderful events this week-end.  Bring the kids out tonight for the "The Princess  Bride" Movie Screening tonight.  Then come back tomorrow night for Karaoke in the park.
And don't forget the yearly Halloween parade next week-end.

Friends of Carroll Park, the all-volunteer group which maintains all of the park's gardens, has some great family-friendly events planned for this fall. From movie screening to karaoke, to the return of the beloved Halloween Parade, you will want to be there. So mark your calendar and pass the info along to your friends.

"The Princess  Bride" Movie Screening
Friday, October 18
 7:30 pm
"Do you believe in storybook stories?" We do! Come by the Robert Acito Park House for an under-the-stars screening of our favorite modern day classic, and weigh in on which movies we'll show in our spring movie screening series.
Fourth Annual Fall Karaoke Party
Saturday, October 19
6pm to 9 pm
Lion's Roar Karaoke will once again bring their 10,000 song catalog to Carroll Park, so please stop by to entertain us with some of your favorites! If you're too shy to grab the mic, at least come for cider and snacks while listening to friends and neighbors warble.

Get gussied up and show off your costumes on the streets of Carroll Gardens! We'll be gathering at 11:30, then kicking off the parade at noon. Once you're back at the park, enjoy snacks and photos courtesy of Friends of Carroll Park and our sponsor Smith Canteen!
