This is a perfect event for a rainy day.  Today, Gia Giasullo and Peter Freeman of Farmacy at 513 Henry Street are celebrating the launch of their just-published book "The Soda Fountain" with free egg creams for everyone. Later in the evening, between 7 and 9 pm, enjoy free the 20s/Jazz Age music played on an antique crank Victrola from Michael Cumella.
Very cool. Don't miss it.

Come celebrate the launch of the Pete and Gia's hot-off-the-presses sweet book. They are the owners of Brooklyn Farmacy and Soda Fountain and a couple of real jerks!

If you haven't experienced the NYC tradition of a classic egg cream, TODAY IS THE DAY!

Brooklyn = chocolate
Manhattan = vanilla

Both delicious.

It's history in a glass ~ stirred, not shaken. ;)
