Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the sidewalk that runs parallel to the F/G elevated portion along Smith/4th Street MTA property? The sidewalk is never shoveled and this morning, was completely treacherous. A young woman had fallen and was bleeding, shaking uncontrollably and not really speaking. I felt terrible for her. 911 was called by 4 different people and it took an ambulance forever to arrive. Later in the day, someone had finally salted it so there was a walkable path. How can we make sure this doesn't happen again?
Thanks for bringing this to everyone's attention. I walked around today and was amazed by how many sidewalks had not been cleared at all. Some were sheets of ice. Incredible.
