Movie Screening And "Spring Sing" Karaoke At Carroll Park This Week-End

Carroll Park will be quite busy this week-end with a number of great activities sure to please and put a smile on everyone's face.

Friends of Carroll Park, the all-volunteer organization that has been lovingly tending to our neighborhood oasis for the past few decades, is hosting a movie and a sing-along karaoke night.

Here are the details:

MUSICAL MOVIE: "ON THE TOWN"
FRIDAY, APRIL 17, 8:00 p.m.
"You may have seen the current hit Broadway revival, now come see the hilarious big screen adaptation starring Gene Kelly, Frank Sinatra, Ann Miller, and Betty Garrett. We won't stop you from singing along to Leonard Bernstein classics like "New York, New York" and "Come Up To My Place." In fact, we encourage it!"

"SPRING SING" KARAOKE PARTY
SATURDAY, APRIL 18, 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Party with friends and neighbors in front of the Robert Acito Park House and sing some of your favorites with Lion's Roar Karaoke and their 10,000 song library.

Suggested donation of $1/song to benefit Friends of Carroll Park.

And of course, the BARK AVENUE PET ADOPT-A-THON is this SUNDAY, APRIL 19, 1:00 - 5:00 p.m.
