Halloween Piñata And Día de Muertos Altar At Bar Bruno On Henry Street

On October 31st, Bar Bruno at 520 Henry Street at the corner of Union Street, will make trick-or-treating extra fun with their 4th annual Halloween Piñata for children. Swinging at the candy filled piñata will start at 6:30 pm, so bring the kids.

The Mexican bistro will also commemorate Día de Muertos with an altar created with the help of Mexico City artists Aldo Flores, Phil Bragar, Yardley Flores, Beatriz Cruz, Jazzamoart and Ruben Rosas.
Bruno's owners Richard and Lena would like to invite their neighbors to stop by on November 2nd between 7 and 10 pm for a tequila on the house and to "reminisce and remember those loved ones that are gone but not forgotten."

love bar bruno. they've been a great contributor to the neighborhood, not only for the various events that they hold (from holiday-related to hosting world cup viewing parties) but also in the way that lena and richard (who live in the neighborhood) go out of their way for other residents in the area.

the installation promises to be spectacular.
