Reminder: "Little Shop Of Horrors" Movie Screening This Friday Night In Carroll Park

oo
A reminder that Friends of Carroll Park, the all volunteer group dedicated to improving our local park, will be hosting three fun events to celebrate Halloween: a movie screening, Scary-oke Karaoke, and the much beloved Halloween Children's Parade.

First up is a screening of "Little Shop Of Horrors" this Friday evening , October 23, at 7pm.
So bring the family, bring friends, help spread the word. Most importantly, have a blast.
And mark the dates of the other two events on your calendar.

Fall Movie Screening: "Little Shop of Horrors"
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 23, 7:00 p.m.
Fall Movie Screening: "Little Shop of Horrors"
We'll have clear skies but chilly weather Friday night, so put on your jackets and bring a blanket to watch the hilarious classic musical comedy horror spoof "Little Shop of Horrors," starring Rick Moranis (Seymour), Ellen Greene (Audrey), Steve Martin (Orin Scrivillo, DDS), and Levi Stubbs of The Four Tops (Audrey II)!

There will be assorted soft drinks and snack bars available for a small donation in case anyone in the crowd cries out "FEED ME!"

Annual "Scary-oke" Karaoke Party!
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 24, 6:00 - 9:00 p.m
For the sixth year in a row, our amazing friends at Lion's Roar Karaoke will bring their 10,000 song catalog to Carroll Park, so stop by to entertain us with some of your favorites. If you're too shy to grab the mic and warble a tune or two, at least come for hot cider and snacks while friends and neighbors wow you with their vocal skills!

Annual Kids' Halloween Parade
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 31, 12:00 p.m.

It's a rare treat (no trick!) to be able to hold our annual parade on Halloween day itself, so get gussied up and show off your costumes on the streets of Carroll Gardens! We'll be gathering at 11:30, then kicking off the parade at noon. Once you're back at the park, enjoy mingling with neighbors and elected officials with snacks courtesy of Friends of Carroll Park and hot cider from our friends at Travel Bar!

All Halloween events sponsored by Smith Canteen.
