I can not stand behind any Opera promoting the act of Rape.

Nancy, have you seen the opera/read the libretto? Do you know anything, anything, about this opera aside from it's title? Will you not stand behind Shakespeare as well?

I cannot tell from the insane comments you post on this blog whether you actually believe the nonsense you spout or if you're just run of the mill internet troll. I do know that these performances will happen even if you don't stand behind them, and I also know that you won't be missed.

Thanks for this, Andy.

OMG Nancy - the Rape of Lucretia is a classic - and certainly does NOT promote rape. Please educate yourself before you make comments that betray ignorance. Ignorance is not a sin, nor a crime, but it can so readily be remedied by the quickest Google search.
